Peggy Deloris Barron

Peggy Barron, 74, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully at her residence on the 4th of April, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born on the 15th of December, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harold Dixson, Sr. and Elsie Sutton Dixson. Peggy was a devoted mother to all of her children including a son with special needs, “Johnny”, who preceded her in death. In addition to her son Johnny, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Barron and by her brother, Benjamin Dixson. Peggy was a devoted employee of GAB Business Systems and retired after serving her company for over 20 years.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Charlene Barron and her companion Roger Bollinger, both of Indian Trail, North Carolina. She is also survived by a beloved and adored granddaughter, Kaley. Also surviving Peggy is her sister, Brenda Kay Foster of Charlotte; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Dixson of Charlotte; a very special friend, Jan Ragsdale of Charlotte and numerous, loving Nieces and Nephews.

A special gathering celebrating Peggy’s life will be announced on a later date. All will be invited to attend.
