Born March 14, 2002, she was the daughter of Thomas and Stephanie Hammonds.Paychense attended South Mecklenburg High School, graduating on June 13, 2020.
She was known as Pay Pay and had a zest for life, filled with lots of fun, laughter and plenty of pranks and jokes. It was never a dull moment having her around. She greatly enjoyed working in order to save towards her dream of owning her own business. She had a great passion for making lace front wigs in which she did extremely well. She also enjoyed designing nails and making her own clothing. Paychense was very gifted and talented with a wealth of creativity. She had a beautiful mind.
Paychence loved family and enjoyed spending time and hanging out with family, this was important to her.
She was preceded in death by her late (Aunt) Jennifer Thompson, and her Great Grandfather Michael Forgach.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her parents, Thomas and Stephanie Hammonds, Grandparents Christine and David Thompson, Jr., and John and Teddy Forgach; Brothers Thomas, Jr. (known as TJ), and Jayce Forgach. Also, uncles Michael Forgach, David and Scoota, Aunt Jessica, and cousins Tayzha, Jaymazha, Marie - Ann, Myracle, David, Jr., Chrystine and Michael, Jr., and a host of other relatives, family and friends.
A visitation for Paychense will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28210.
A memorial service will begin at 11 am on Monday, October 16, 2023 at McEwen Funeral Home - Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at York Memorial Park, 5150 York Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28217.
