Patsy M. Helms, age 78 of Charlotte, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015. She retired from the Charlotte –Mecklenburg Schools System after 20 years of service and had a great love for her family and children. Preceded in death by son, Kenny Helms. She is survived by her husband, Buddy; sons Mike and Todd and his wife, Elizabeth; and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. A private graveside service is will be conducted at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity or hospice of your choice.
