Oscar Charles Bauer, Jr

He sure loved singing his gospel music! He had such a deep voice.  He also loved his Cadillac.  He even waxed the wheel wells.  I also remember in the summer he would wear shorts, while sporting sandals with black socks.   He went through some awful things during his service in WWII,  and life definitely handed him some tough cards along the way with some peace and joy during his long 97 years here.  He left his mark in St. Louis and in Charlotte, with a lot of family and friends in both places.
