Nellie Isley Andrews was born on February 20, 1932 in Burlington, NC to Joe & Vita Isley. Nellie passed away from cancer on Friday, May 31, 2019. Nellie was 1 of 7 siblings.
She graduated in 1950 from Alexander Wilson High School in Graham, NC.
Nellie and Charles Frank Andrews met in high school and were married for almost 47 years before his passing on July 1, 1998.
Surviving are her 4 children: Denny (Loretta) – GA, Terri Blanton (Randy) , Gay Gardner and Bonnie Andrews all of Charlotte, 5 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
Nellie worked with Ivey’s for 25 years. She was also an excellent homemaker and a FANTASTIC baker. She never met a stranger and never missed an opportunity to share her love and praise for the Lord Our Savior. To know Nellie was to love Nellie. She will be missed by so many.
Nellie was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church for over 50 years.
