Nancy Jean Fowler

Nancy Jean Fowler, 75, of Charlotte went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2014. She was the New Year’s baby in Charlotte 1939. Nancy was a lifelong Charlottean. She was a member of the Local Presbytery and served many positions in her church including Clerk of Session. She retired from Hoechst Celanese after 32 years. She loved quilting, cross stitch and her many friends, but most of all she loved her family.

Nancy is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 56 years, Jack Fowler; son Barry, Sr. (Paula), daughter Lisa (Rich) Tyte, grandchildren Jessica, Courtney and Jack Fish; Barry (Lynsey) Fowler, Jr., Christopher Hentschel and Stephanie (Shane) Morgan. Brothers Bill and Thomas Bullock.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 3 at 10:00am at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church followed by a funeral service and burial at the church cemetery. A reception will follow for all.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Nancy’s memory to the General Fund of Steele Creek Presbyterian Church, 7407 Steele Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28217.
