Mrs. Green, 85, of Charlotte passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born September 8, 1925 in Union County, North Carolina the daughter of the late Mose Ashley and Mabel Arant.
She proudly served her country in the U. S. Army for 15 years.
Surviving are her son, Thomas Lee Green and wife Eleanor L. Green; granddaughters, Amanda Maxine Green (12), Savannah Lynn Green (10), and Ashley Nicole Green (7); niece, Pat Lineberger and her children Monica and Grady Lineberger.
A visitation will be held from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday, April 18, 2011 at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208.
A funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
