She was born on the 6th of June, 1928 to the late Gladys and Holland Yandle. A life long native of Charlotte she spent her early years working the office administration followed by being a homemaker.
Mildred was a woman of faith in the Lord. She was active in her church at Freedom Presbyterian Church and loved working in the Mother's Morning Out Program.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Gene Marion and her brother, Bill Yandle. She is survived by her son, John David Marion; a sister, Nancy Yandle Elder; a sister-in-law, Sarah Yandle and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, the 16th April, 2025 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
