Mr. Machek, age 65, of Charlotte, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center - Mercy. Born March 2, 1947, in Barberton, OH, he was a son of the late Mike and Mary Machek. Mr. Machek served in the U.S. Navy. He was a former supervisor of Associated Engineering.
The family will receive friends 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Sunday at McEwen Funeral Service - Sharon Memorial Park. Funeral service will be private.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Janet Bucey Machek; three children, April Machek, Michael Machek and Brandy Geraghty and husband, Don; and four grandchildren, Brian, Emily, Allison and Tyler.
