Marie passed away peacefully and will be lovingly remembered by her extended family, many friends, members of her church family, as well as the Charlotte community at large. Marie was born in Charlotte of Lebanese immigrant parents who raised two children, Marie and her brother, Michel Jack. At a young age, Marie proved herself a perceptive business owner and investor, surrounding herself with great advisors and associates.
As an enthusiastic patron of the arts, Marie devoted her life to contributing and supporting many educational, musical and visual art organizations to enrich the life of her beloved Charlotte community. Inspired by her deeply held Catholic faith, Marie gave witness by supporting the work of the Catholic Diocese of Charlotte and in particular of her spiritual family at St. Gabriel, where she was a strong presence in various ministries and managed the parish's Gift Shop. Marie was a believer and champion of many efforts within the Catholic community including Catholic schools, Holy Angels, Seminary Education, Catholic Charities, St. Joseph College Seminary, and many more.
