Mary Elizabeth McCall, 83, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2012 at University Place Nursing and Rehab cafter many years of failing health. Ms McCall worked at Lance, Hudson Hosiery Mill and Neibles Hosiery Mill before becoming sick. She was very caring and loved her family.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Dock F. McManus and Lottie Bailey McManus, her husband, Robert L. McCall and her brother, John McManus. She is survived by her daughters, Betty McCall of Mint Hill, Helen Hinson and Ellen (Barry) England, two grandsons, Michael England and Kevin Hinson and brother, Frank McManus of Mint Hill.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00pm Thursday, June 21, 2012 at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd. Charlotte, NC 28227. A graveside service will immediately follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region 1420 East 7th St. Charlotte, NC 28204.
