Miss Mary Dell Lewis

Mary was born on June 21, 1926 in Lincoln County, NC and was the daughter of the late Ted and Locia Carpenter Lewis.

She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and retired from the Federal Reserve Bank where she worked in administration for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Glenda Lynch and brother, Ted Lewis, Jr.

Survivors include her sister, Shirley Hendrick , of Florida; brother, Robert Lewis and wife Joan, of Sharon, SC, nieces, Sandy Hoffman and Sherry Goodwin both of Florida and nephew Richard Lynch also of Florida; nephew, Keith Lewis, of Charlotte, NC; nephew Chet Lewis and niece Denise Rankin both of Sharon, SC. Seven great nieces and nephews and six great-great nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Miss Lewis will be held at 3:00pm Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in Forest Lawn West Cemetery with Reverend Barry Lambert presiding. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 2:30 until 2:55pm.
