Mary Lou Johnson, 92, of Charlotte died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Wexford Home Assisted Living in Denver, NC.
A native of Elkin, Ms. Johnson was born to the late William Holleman and Celester Prevette Holleman on August 1, 1925. She was a past member of First Baptist Church in Charlotte. Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie L. Johnson.
Ms. Johnson is survived by two grandsons, Johnnie L. Johnson, Daniel C. Johnson; eight great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sue Johnson; nephews, Chris and Reggie Holleman and other great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 2:15 pm in Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. on Saturday at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte.
