Inez, age 89, of Charlotte, died June 7, 2016. Born January 27, 1927 in Peachland, NC, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Blanche Diggs. Inez was formerly employed with ABC Industries and a member of Sharon Forest Baptist Church. However, she was probably best known for making the world’s best lemonade and iced tea.
The family will receive friends 10:00 am - 11:00 am Friday, June 10th at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Services. Funeral will immediately follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Inez was predeceased by her husband, William Reid and son, Larry Dale. She is survived by a son, Nelson Reid and his wife, Barby who were caregivers for Inez in her last years.
