Martha Davis Tadlock, 86, of Stanley, passed away February 3, 2021 in her home. Born July 28, 1934 in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Margaret (Moore) Davis. She married Douglas L. Tadlock on May 23, 1953 in Saluda, NC.
A member of First Presbyterian Church of Stanley, Martha’ ministry was knitting hats for the schools in the mountain counties.
She enjoyed coloring, word search, sewing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Doug Tadlock; children, Barry (Wanda) Tadlock, Bonnie (Jimi) Johns and Kelly Tadlock; grandchildren, Nick (Shanna) Tadlock, Brandy (Daniel) Davis Caitlin (Mike) Jowers, Samuel Gault and Chloe (Wesley) Wright and; great-grandchildren, Ansley Mae, Sophia and Theresa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles M. Davis.
