Marley India Metellus

The most precious, amazing baby girl, Marley India Metellus, was born on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Charlotte, NC to loving parents Peterson and Billie. She left this earth on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.

She was known to all as a quiet, serene little girl who contemplated all with large, beautiful eyes and reserved her magical smiles for those she deemed worthy.

Marley was always with her beloved brother Malachi, playing with him or loving on him; she loved music, especially Baby Shark, Skidamarinka Dinky Dink, and singing the ABC’s. She also enjoyed dancing to her favorite songs, taking baths, eating good food, but especially being with her family. She was always on the go, her favorite place to see was the ocean, always viewing it from the warmth of Mommy or Daddy’s arms.

Marley is survived by her parents, Peterson and Billie; her brother Zabien; her sister, Kamilah; her brother, Malachi; grandfather, Ernest; grandmother, India Metellus; as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Marley is preceded in death by her grandmother, LaVon Page; her grandfather, Joe Chris Page; and her great-grandmother, Marie Metellus.

A Celebration of Life is being held on Sunday, August 21, at 10 am at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road Charlotte, in Marley’s honor. Please join our family in remembering her bright and beautiful life.
