Mark Franklin Haynes

He was born on the 10th of May, 1966 one of four children to the late Bob Haynes and Vivian Mullins Haynes. Mark worked 33 years in the contract manufacturing industry holding the position of a Senior Sales Executive for the past 6 years and an operations management position prior to that.

Mark loved his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time fishing, golfing, watching his daughter play soccer, video gaming with his son, walking the neighborhood with his wife and dogs talking to everyone in passing and of course the NC State Wolfpack.

A service to celebrate the life of Mark Haynes will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, the 5th of June, 2024 in the Paul Helton Chapel at Forest Lawn West Funeral Service. The Haynes family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lynn Carpenter Haynes; two children: Tanner Lee Haynes and Kamryn Alexis Haynes; one brother, Alex Haynes; two sisters: Sherri Tatum and Janet West and husband, Mark; mother-in-law, Blanche Hartness Carpenter; two brothers-in-law: Robby Carpenter and wife, Sondra and Donny Carpenter; three nieces: Spenser Smith and husband, Jimmy; Olivia Adzima and husband, Austin and Tasha Carpenter; two nephews: Miles West and Luke Carpenter and five beloved companions: Seven, Sable, Coco, Tobi and Tulii.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his Father-in-law, Robert Carpenter, Sr.

Memorials may be made in remembrance of Mark to the National Institute for Mental Health, the Humane Society of Charlotte or to the donor's choosing.
