Mrs. McCluggage age 87 of Charlotte (formally of Indian Trail) passed away peacefully June 27, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 8819 Park Road. Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill, a sister Betty, and brothers, James and Bill. She is survived by her daughter Marsha Hopper (Doug) of Charlotte, a grandson she adored Jesse, sister Shirley Johnson (E.P.) of Indian Trail, brother, Doug Garner (Jean) of Matthews and many nieces and nephews. Margie had been a resident at White Oak Manor of Charlotte for the past 9 years and she was loved by staff and residents. Margie was born in Charlotte, NC the daughter of the late Mack and Nealie Garner. A memorial service will be held at McEwen Funeral Service Charlotte Chapel July 7 2014 at 2:00 P. M. conducted by Reverend Doctor Buddy Pigg. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be at Sharon Memorial Park. Arrangements for the family are in care of McEwen Funeral Home Charlotte. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Susan G.
