Margaret Louise Chandler

Louise McDonald Chandler, age 87 of Gastonia, NC went to be with the Lord on March 12, while surrounded by her family. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, March 15th in the Paul Helton Chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Jeremy Burrell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Mrs. Chandler was born in Charlotte on July 3, 1926 and was a daughter of the late Archie Charlie and Grace Woodle McDonald. She was a member of Maranatha Church of God in Gastonia, a Bible teacher, and a registered nurse. She was the co-founder of the Temple of the Living Word in Charlotte. Surviving are her children, Trudy Chandler of Charlotte, Ronnie Chandler and wife, Nancy of Mint Hill, Cookie Rollins and husband, Marshall of Gastonia, NC and Steve Chandler and wife, Karla of Rock Hill, SC; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Grace Bailey of Charlotte. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Roy Chandler, daughter Vicki Smith, grandson, Lil Ronnie Chandler, one brother and three sisters.
