A native of Charlotte, Camille was born to the late James Franklin and Dorothy Jackson Dietz on March 8, 1943. She attended Woodlawn Elementary and South Mecklenburg High School and worked as a beautician for 50 years at Anne’s Hair Design in Derita and Southminster Retirement Home on Park Road. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years,Thomas “Tommy” Cleveland Brown in 2014. Camille enjoyed car shows, watching General Hospital, family reunions in Chimney Rock, eating ice cream and shopping, shopping shopping!
Camille is survived by her son Ricky Brown and his wife Wanda of Monroe; two siblings Patricia Fincher and Jack Dietz; three granddaughters and one great-grandson.
A celebration of life will be held 1:00p.m. Monday, June 4th in McEwen Derita Chapel, 6300 Mallard Creek Rd., Charlotte. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
