Louise C. Cole

Margaret Louise Cousar Cole, 81, of Charlotte, NC passed away on June 21, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on May 23, 1931 in Charlotte, NC, a daughter of the late William Harrison and Grace McKnight Cousar, and sister to the late Helen Parker, Libby Hanes, Ruby Westerfield, Bill Cousar, and Reid Cousar.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gene P. Cole, Sr.; her three children and their spouses, Gene and Susan Cole, Margaret and Jim Atherton and Scott and Susan Cole; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Cole spent most of her working life at Carolina Wholesale and Building Materials Company. She served God and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for many years as a strong and inspirational president. At her death, she was a member of Morningstar Lutheran Church. Mrs. Cole was known by all as a loving wife, devoted mother and doting grandmother.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday evening Harry & Bryant Company, 500 Providence Rd., Charlotte. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park Mausoleum.
