Loretta B. "Retta" Crump

She was born on March 25, 1934, in Rock Hill, SC, to John and Clara Haynes Beam.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Vernon “Sox” Crump, Pineville, NC; her four daughters, Nancy Lingle (Lawrence) Roanoke, VA; Suzanne Barrett (Danny) Mooresville, NC; and Jonell and Linda; her son, Vernon Crump, Jr. (Tanya), York, SC; her brother, Ed Beam (Betty), Rock Hill, SC; twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and a special daughter, Benita Wood (James), Concord, NC.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, from 10-11 a.m. at the McEwen Funeral Service-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC, followed by her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery in Charlotte.
