She was born on July2, 1921, in Charlotte, NC, to Frank Harold Medlock, Jr. and Annie Lou Simmons Medlock.
Lollie graduated in 1939 from Berryhill High School in Charlotte.
She married Patrick Turner in 1942. They were married for sixty-eight years.
She worked as a sales clerk in the shoe dept. of Ivey’s Dept. Store for twenty-five years. She retired in 1988.
Mrs. Turner was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church in Charlotte. She was a Red Cross volunteer for many years.
Survivors include her three children, Patrick Joseph Turner, III (Pam), Loganville, GA; Laura Ann Kitchen (John), Gastonia, NC; and Sarah “Sally” Elizabeth Isenhour (Tony), Indian Trail, NC; her sister, Barbara Ann Huffman, Elizabeth City, NC; her brother, Frank Harold Medlock, Charlotte; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, May 14, 2012, from 1-2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, 15000 S. Tryon St., Charlotte, following by her service at 2 p.m. Reverend Robert Jack will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Patrick Joseph Turner, Jr., and sister, Francis Mattox.
