Linda Gail James CHARLOTTE - Linda Gail James, age 51, of Charlotte, passed away October 24, 2012 of Ovarian Cancer. A visitation will be from 1:00-2:00PM Sunday with a service at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, Reverend Linda M. Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. She was born in Charlotte October 16, 1961, daughter of Mary Woodle James and the late Malon Herrin James. She was a gifted musician playing the guitar, coronet, drums and was learning to play the organ. Linda attended CPCC, had been employed as a security guard and later at Seimens as a Tech and at Attorney Ruff's office as a legal assistant Surviving are her mother, Mary M. James, sister, Helen Mullis, cousin/sister, Elaine Landry all of Charlotte, aunts, Helen Woodle of Gastonia, NC, Ruby Landry of Charlotte, adopted aunt, Joyce Phillips of Gastonia, special friend, Melanie Frame of Charlotte, best friend, Debbie Ferreira and numerous nieces and nephews.
