Linda Bey Jackson

She graduated from Germantown High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, Linda joined the United States Navy. She served in the United States Navy for 20 years before retiring. Afterwards, Linda worked as a deputy clerk at the Virginia Beach General District Court for 12 years and then for the North Carolina County Courts Clerk of Superior Court as a deputy clerk for 16 years, she retired in 2022.

Linda loved her church and was a long-standing member of New Beginnings Community Church, where she was a faithful servant of the finance ministry.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arington, Virginia. Seating is limited, please contact the family if you are attending.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Jobes, and her eldest sister, Drena.

She is survived by her sisters, Doris Beck and Evelyn Stanton, and her brothers, Charles Bey and Rodney Bey. Linda has 4 nephews, 6 nieces, and 22 great nephews and nieces.
