Linda Woods Hood

Linda Woods Hood, 57, of Charlotte, quietly passed away at home on February 18, 2011 after struggling with multiple health problems for many years. She was born January 30, 1954 in Columbia, SC. Linda was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School. She served on the Board of Directors of Park Plaza Homeowners Association and supported other community organizations. Linda loved animals, feeding birds and supported the welfare of animals.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, L. Boyd Hood. She is also survived by her parents Wilson (Bill) Woods and Regina Bryant Woods; brother Wilson (Bill) Woods III and wife Debbie, all of Charlotte and a sister Brenda Smith and husband Bill of Tampa FL

The family will receive friends on Monday February 21, 2011 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday February 22, 2011 at Myers Park United Methodist Church, 1501 Queens Road, Charlotte, NC 28207.
