She is survived by her son, Ryan Kanaga and his wife Christina; grandchildren, Kelsey Kanaga Robinson, Abby and Zachary Kanaga; and her brother, Michael Taylor and his wife Janice.
Linda graduated from Nazareth Area Senior High School in 1965 and attended Florida State University. She married Rick Kanaga in 1969 and was married to him until 1976. She then married Roger Blackstone Alley in 1979 and was married to him until 1990.
She’s lived most of her life in the Tega Cay/Charlotte area and attended Forest Hill Church and was baptized there.
Linda had a successful business career in finance and accounting, retiring from Safefleet in 2018. She was self-employed as an independent auditor for five years before joining Safefleet.
She was a long-time member of Charlotte Indoor Tennis. Linda enjoyed entertaining friends, game night, and loved her vacations with her very dear friends, especially at her timeshare in Hilton Head, SC.
She loved gardening and tending to the many plants in her patio garden. Her constant companion was Bandit, whom Linda adopted when he was six months old in 2013.
Linda was thankful for her three close friends who she’s known for years. They never left her side during her nine year cancer battle. They helped with transportation, meals, Bandit care, encouragement and love - Pam, Cammie and Susan. Plus, there was her relationship with her youngest Best Friend, Kyle Orsburn, a unique relationship and bond that meant so much to both of them.
