Leon “Lee” D. Helms Jr., 55, of Stanley, passed away October 6, 2021 in his home. Born July 9, 1966 in Charlotte, he was the son of Leon D. & Ruth A. (Wyatt) Helms Sr.
He was a graduate of Harding High School, Class of ’85.
Lee enjoyed target shooting, traveling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his parents, Leon and Ruth Helms; sister, Deb Helms; grandmother, Anna Helms; aunts, Faye Trammell, Jean Todd, Evelyn Rippy, and Cathy Wyatt; uncles, Gary Helms, Otis Wyatt and John Wyatt; numerous cousins.
