Larry, 74, passed away on January 8, 2021 at Atrium Healthcare, Pineville, NC.
Born October 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Jack Edward Biggers and Nettie Mae Biggers. After graduating from South Mecklenburg High School, he served four years in the U. S. Air Force. His career was as a self-employed owner of his own trucking service.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Helen G. Biggers; one daughter, Ashley Byrd (husband Tim); stepson John Whitledge (wife Michelle); his sister Reita Nunley (husband Steve); along with grandchildren T. J. and Ciara Byrd, Michael and Jamie Whitledge, and great grandchildren Kaden, Lauren and Haven Whitledge.
