It’s been one year and 2 days without you, and man I miss you so much… there is never a day that goes by without thinking about you. Thank you for being such an amazing best friend. I'm a coworker of lacey's and today I just found out about her passing today at work and I was shocked. She always seemed like a nice girl and I wish we could have became friends. I wish her family and friends the best through the grieving process.

Lacy I know I didn’t know you for a long time but the way we connected during the time I did was so wonderful. Your personality your faith and overall energy is something I will never forget. I loved the journey and the words we shared and I will be forever grateful to have known you. And until we meet again rest up and I will have some pictures that I colored to show when we do. My deepest condolences to your family and you will always have my prayers

Beautiful Lacey :( I’m gonna miss you so much. I remember the first time I met you my first year at Marvin Academy. You were always sitting in the hallway, reading your books, looking out the window, and every time during lunch I would pass by you and I was always the girl who hung out with the guys until I met you until we bonded for those 15-20 minutes before  lunch and just like that you were my first best friend there you were the mom to our friend group our shoulder to cry on you gave us advice and you kept us out of trouble you prayed for us you made me believe in so much you had so much joy in spirit and positivity and I’m never going to forget your jokes. Your smile your beautiful laugh. I’m going to miss you so much, Lacey and it hurts but it’s not a goodbye. I love you. I remember being a troublemaker in school and you always giving us advice. I remember the stupid jokes we would always make together and laugh. We always have each other’s backs me you and Emma, and it was us against the whole school. We love you and I’m never going to forget you and how you made my first year in that school being my best friend. Amazing.

I will keep Laceys family and her friends in my prayers for strength and courage to get through this time. Lacey was such a light in this world ❤️

Dearest Lacey, you were an exceptionally kind person and such a joy to talk to at work.  We were all  floored when we heard the tragic news. Such a beautiful soul called to Heaven way too early. I will be praying for your family, friends, and former co-workers during this difficult time. You are now in the arms of God and entirely free of pain. Lacey and I had plenty conversations about God, world events, and friendships with her classmates.  She displayed a genuine concern for everyone she fellowship with at school.  On one occasion Lacey participated in a field trip to JAARS in Waxhaw. She was so amazed of how the Bible was being translated to other languages so others could come to know God as she did. Lacey you will be missed but your love for others will always be in our hearts.

Lacey attended school with my daughter Grace.  She was so funny and I always enjoyed the stories Grace would share of Lacey making her laugh.  Grace is very serious and Lacey’s gift of laughter was a huge blessing to her.  I know she was very faithful and many times had conversations with Grace on Jesus and his love for us.  Our hearts hurts for your family and the incredible loss of your sweet daughter.  We will be in prayer for you as you walk through this unimaginable loss.  May she rest in eternal peace.

My Dear, Sweet, Lacey Girl,  How it grieves me that I will  not see your bright eyes and sweet smile on this earth again.   It brought joy to my day anytime I got to see you. I will remember Lacey’s smile and her laugh

I sadly never got to know her the way many others had the chance to. She was a coworker at Lowe's. I am full-time in the garden department and she would be a cashier when I worked outside. She was always so nice and would compliment my silly pith helmet that I wore for work. She was a very sweet girl and she will be missed!

Im so thankful we got to be friends and Share memories together. I wish it wasn’t so short but I will cherish our friendship and memories with me forever. I will miss you so much

I am so thankful that I got to be your friend, you were always so happy and energetic and you would light up a room when you walked in. The thing I truly loved the most about you beside your caring personality was your humor, the smallest things would send you into a full blown laugh attack that resulted in many many snorts, like that video where the bread fell down and made a plop noise, you spent over an hour laughing at that and I will forever cherish that. You were like a little sister to me and you still are, I love you Lacey ❤️ Thank you for all the memories we shared
