A native Charlottean, she was born on February 3, 1962, the only child of Raymond and Blandena Tarlton.
Kristal graduated from Garinger High School and was trained and employed at Presbyterian Hospital as a medical technician. A strikingly beautiful young lady, she loved fashion and music and dancing and will always be remembered by her family and friends as a sweet, humble spirit with a loving smile.
Kristal is survived by her two sons, Stephen Chase Tarlton, age 37, and Joshua David Fine, age 30, both of Charlotte. They were both very close to their mom, spent frequent, quality time with her and will sorely miss her.
Arrangements are being handled by McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte. Pastor Ed Butler will officiate at a graveside service there at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, where Kristal will be laid to rest beside her mother and father.
