Kevin Kev C. Jones

Kevin Clay Jones, 27, of Charlotte, passed away on February 20, 2016. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, he is the son of Lawrence A. Jones of Surfside Beach, South Carolina and Christine Jones-Howell of Charlotte, North Carolina. He was a 2006 graduate of East Mecklenburg High School and was employed by Belk. He loved the Carolina Panthers and was an admirer of BMWs. He loved his family and always put everyone ahead of himself. He was protective, content and smart beyond his years. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Allen W. Jones.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Jack and O’Neal Jennell of Charlotte and his paternal grandmother, Mary Katherine Jones of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He is also survived by his brothers, Corey Jones of Charlotte, NC and Michael Howell of Mint Hill, NC; by a nephew, Mason Jones of Charlotte; and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be observed on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park beginning at 1:00 PM. Please come and share your memories of Kevin as we celebrate his life.
