Kenneth Edward Ellis

He was born on Sept. 21, 1956, at Johnson Air Force base in Japan, to Ed and Juanita Towery Ellis.

He received a degree from Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC.

Kenneth married RaElla Best on March 11, 1988 in Sevierville, TN.

The couple moved to the Carolinas twenty-two years ago.

He was an HVAC General Manager for Cook 1/8s Mechanical Services in Lincolnton, NC.

His family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, from 4-6 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Service-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC, (704) 544-1412. His funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at the Stough Memorial Baptist church, 705 Lakeview Dr., Pineville, NC. His family will also receive friends one hour before services. Reverend Rodney Cripps and Reverend Steve All will officiate. Interment will be on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, in Ash Hill Cemetery East in Fisk, MO.

Survivors include his wife, RaElla, Rock Hill; his parents, Ed and Juanita Ellis, Poplar Bluff, MO; his sister, Valerie (Norm) Thiele, Denver, CO; six nieces and nephews, Cameron and Brett Marie Thiele, Denver, CO; Austin and Andrew Delaber, Heavener, OK; and Logan and Lexi Rogers, Blytheville, AR.; his uncle Bill (Loeta) Towery, Tulsa, OK; and his two aunts, Helen Weaver, Montague, TX, and Sandy (Dwain) Hughes, Groesbeck, TX.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenneth's memory to Stough Memorial Baptist Church.
