Kathleen M Griffin

Kathleen Griffin, 95, of Rock Hill, SC, passed peacefully in her sleep on 7/14/2021 after a time of health challenges. Visitation will be held 7/19/21 at 1:00PM, service will follow at 2:00PM, at McEwens Sharon Chapel, 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC, 28212.

Prior to her failing health she enjoyed an active life including gardening, cooking, crocheting, pitching horseshoes, and bicycling. She loved her church and spending many hours with family and friends.

She finished her career days of private care CNA at age of 77.

Mom, Mawmaw, & Granny (she answered to all) believed in God with all her whole being. She knew where she was going and looked forward to meeting Jesus and spending eternity in Heaven with God.

As she met Jesus at the gate of Heaven, she was reunited with her son, Herbert and her husband, Clyde, four sisters, and three brothers, her parents, and numerous other family and friends.

In the fulfillment of her life, she left a few of us behind that will miss her dearly and treasure our memories of her. Left behind are her daughter, Marlene Crowell(Andy), granddaughters Ginger Kinard(Harry), and Tammie Pearson, grandson Scott Griffin(Sandy) with children Austin and Ansley, grandson Mark Griffin(Jill) with children Eli and Lela, and mother of grands, Geri.
