After graduating from Morgantown High School she attended West Virginia University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology. Later she earned her Master’s degree and worked on a Doctorate at Catholic University in Washington, D.C before deciding to add to her family and become a full time mother.
She married, Henry “Rusty” Rhodes, on January 14th, 1978. Together they raised three daughters.
Judy worked in the field of medical technology for several years. Then later devoted all of her time to
caring for her family at home.
She was an active member of Blair Road United Methodist Church, and had a passion for serving others.
She participated in several church mission trips – the one most near and dear to her heart were the trips to Haiti.
Judy is survived by her husband, Rusty Rhodes; and their three daughters – Stephanie, Jennie and Mary.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to her 5 grandchildren - Zachary, Madison, Briana, Emma and
Abigail.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Haiti Mission Fund at Blair Road Methodist Church.
