Judy Roberts Bailey

Judy Gail Roberts Bailey, 70, of Charlotte, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 3, 1945 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Eddie and Dorothy Roberts. Judy grew up in the Oakhurst Community and attended East Mecklenburg High School. She started her career in IT at Fort Jackson Military Base in Columbia, SC and retired from Charlotte MEPS in 2010 after 32 years with many awards and accolades. In her spare time, she enjoyed cross stitch, crafts, loved her Starbucks Coffee, camping at Ocean Lakes Campground in Myrtle Beach, spending time with her family and walking or carrying her beloved dog, George. Her greatest accomplishment, however, was being a mother to her five children.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Prentiss "Joe" Bailey. She is survived by her daughters, Dottie Mazell (Aaron), Bonnie Isenhower, Jamie Isenhower (Brad); sons, Pete Isenhower and Matthew Bailey and her precious dog, George. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Ashley Elvis, Jarrett Radford, Jared Mazell and Jessica Mazell and great-grandchildren, Douglas, Gabriella, Hunter and Devon.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 3, 2016 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Gardens of Sharon Memorial Park.
