Mrs. Stephens, age 63, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center. Born January 22, 1954, she was the daughter of Gerald Clontz Parker and the late Joyce Mae Russell Parker. Mrs. Stephens retired as a teaching assistant of CMS after 20 years of dedicated service. She spent most of her career at Statesville Road Elementary School. Mrs. Stephens was a former member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM Saturday at Wilson Funeral Service. Funeral will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Gregory; two daughters, Kendra Mae Wright and Angel Elaine Causey; father; two brothers, Russell Parker and Michael “Mickey” Parker; and three grandchildren. Max, Adeline and Treyson.
