Joseph John Wisniowski

Joseph John Wisniowski, 82, passed away, October 13, 2022 at home after a lengthy illness. He was born on August 31, 1940 in Chicopee, Massachusetts to the late Joseph and Katherine (Bozek) Wisniowski.

Joe served in the Air National Guard and the Reserve of the United States Air Force in Massachusetts.

After completing a Masters Degree in Engineering, Joe worked as an industrial engineer primarily in the medical field. Joe enjoyed his career. A career that included having worked at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio and Mercy Hospital –Carolinas Healthcare System in Charlotte, North Carolina.

After retiring, Joe enjoyed his membership at Amity Presbyterian Church where he served on several committees. He embraced the fellowship of the close membership of the church.

Joe will be remembered for the love of his sailboat, radiant smile, infectious laugh and dedication to career, friendship and faith in God.

Joe was proud to have been second generation of Polish heritage. He enjoyed all things Polish; music, language, dance and history.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Amity Presbyterian Church, 2831 N Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte beginning at 11am.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joe’s memory to Amity Presbyterian Church.
