John Barry Barry Mulvaney

Born June 20, 1932 in Chicago Illinois, Barry graduated with a Business Administration Degree from St. Mary’s College, Winona MN, 1959

He was married to Helen Cook Mulvaney on August 25, 1956.

Barry worked as an electrical engineer for WCNC TV 36. He was a member of the Amateur Radio Club in Charlotte and had a passion for family, church and his dog Shadow.

He is survived by his daughters; Patti Amrein, Eileen Mulvaney, Margaret “Peggy” Herman (Zach) and Mary Adams; grandchildren, Matthew, Katie, Jessica

(Chad), Annette, Danny (Bethany), Mike (Whitney), Brett (Tiffany), Kelly; great grandchildren, Rylie Ann, Nolan James, and Kinslee Grace.

In addition to his wife Helen of 52 years, he is preceded in death by his son, Michael Mulvaney.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Barry’s life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, October 5, 2015, at St. Luke Catholic Church, with Fr. Paul Gary, celebrant. A visitation will be held one hour prior.
