My Prayers are with his family.  I had the priviledge of meeting Johnny at the hotel I work at.  From the time he became our regular guest he became part of our family and one of our favorites guests.  He truly will be missed.

What a BEAUTIFUL funeral service for Johnny and how the girls gave such a wonderful eulogy for their Daddy was a testimony of pure "strength and determination"of 
how love will get you through. The church was full, Johnny's son-in law's fellow firemen all dressed up holding their hats close to their hearts, the eulogy from his brother, Frankie telling us stories about your pranks and helping us laugh through our tears and of course his friend, David with his 
great memories which also made us laugh. The cars were steady coming as I looked in my rear view
mirror and then we reached Johnny's final earthly destination. This was all organized by a wonderful loving family and loyal friends. I left there PROUD to know Johnny Godley and the Godley Family.

Johnny will really be missed by his friends. He used to love playing pool with John Wyatt - Taking John's money was the hi-light of the pool game

We were very saddened to hear of Mr. Godley's passing.  He was such a special person.  The staff of the Trauma Surgical Care Unit at McLeod wanted to express our condolences to your family.

Johnny has been a close friend and business associate for over 34 years. He was smart and dedicated to knowing what he was selling and to being fair.  He used his energy and talent to help thousands of people to buy and sell what they needed to do their life's work. Often the buying was with joy.  Sometimes the selling was with sadness or grief, but Johnny and Frankie made it as easy as possible and paved the way for a new path in life.  I learned a lot from Johnny and #60 misses him.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Johnny's death. I always thought alot of him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

I had the priviledge of being one of several of Johnny's real estate agents. We became such good friends and he "taught me so many things. One that is hard to do these days was Johnny was from the old school but folks need to remember that when a MAN gives you his handshake, that's his word! Johnny would always say " a person is only as good as his word". Sure going to miss you.
