Jobs including A&P Grocery, Murray Distributing, American Crank Shaft, Kirk Brown and Sons, he even carried a paper route, amongst others. Ultimately, John entreprenualiy owned his own business John’s Mobile Auto Service. His true passion was his family and restoring classic cars but only with a Hemi engine! He was “married” to many widows from the church at Carmel Presbyterian and Faith United Methodist. Often being called upon to fix a vacuum, mow a yard, pick up or deliver this or that, or anything that was needed. Always showing up with a full heart and two able and willing hands. John also served his community by delivering meals to shut ins through the Meals on Wheels program at Faith United Methodist Church. After moving to Weddington, NC he found a loving a supportive church home at Weddington United Methodist Church. John was blessed to have six siblings.
