John Lee Boyce

John Lee Boyce, 63, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018, in Matthews, North Carolina. John was born in Johnson City, New York on August 5, 1955, to Baxter Lee and Lorraine Marion Boyce.

John is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Donna Morris Boyce; along with two children, Joshua Lee Boyce of Mint Hill, North Carolina, and Megan Rose Aycinena and her husband, Pablo, of Charlotte, North Carolina; and his two adorable grandchildren, Nicolas and Gabriella Aycinena. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Belnap and her husband, Rock Belnap; and his niece and nephew, Cory Belnap and Tara Bishop. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Baxter Lee Boyce and Lorraine Marion Boyce.

John attended Vestal Central Senior High School and Niagara University in New York. He and Donna married in 1980 and moved to Charlotte where they have called home for the last 40 years. John was a dedicated and hard worker; working as a computer technician for over 25 years. He loved spending time at his home with his wife and playing with his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 17, 2018, at New Charlotte Church, 11011 Monroe Road, Matthews, North Carolina. A visitation with the family will follow immediately after the service at the church.
