Joan dedicated her life on earth to Jesus Christ her Saviour and her blessed family who loved her beyond measure. As she entered into heaven peacefully on the morning of August 12, she was greeted by her loving Saviour and those she loved that have gone before her and will wait patiently to embrace those of us still waiting to partake in the gift of eternal life given to us graciously by our Lord and Saviour. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 71 years, Joseph Mavin Padgett; 3 children, Wanda Berry, Scott Padgett and Brenda Burrell; 5 grandchildren (one of which preceded her to heaven); 10 great grandchildren and her baby brother, Edgar Bennett Dycus.
Rest in Peace Beautiful Soul!!! Your journey here is over. You will be sorely missed, but we rejoice with you as you hear the voice of Jesus say, "Well done my good and faithful servant!"
