Joan T. Erbeck

She was born on Aug. 10, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY, to William and Mary (Hughes) Parks.

She was blissfully married to Raymond C. Erbeck for thirty years. Following marriage, the couple resided in Hackensack, NJ. In 1990, they moved to Matthews, NC. They retired to Jensen Beach, FL, in 1995.

Survivors include her daughter, Joann T. (William) Hughes, Matthews, NC; her sons, James (Annette) Keller, Howell, NJ, and Joseph (Deborah) Keller, Monmouth Beach, NJ; five grandchildren, James, Sean, Jessica, Michael, and Alison Keller; step-daughters, Lynn Erbeck and Jill Marchesani: step-grandchildren, Alex and Victoria Marchesani; her sister, Mary (Arthur) Ramsdell, Ridgewood, NJ; her sister-in-law, Ann Parks, Jensen Beach, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, from 3-5 p.m. at the McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at the McEwen-Mint Hill Chapel. The Reverend Paul Q. Gary will be the celebrant.

Pallbearers will be family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; son, John Henry Keller, and her five brothers, Francis, William, James, John, and Peter Parks.
