Jerry Eugene Bryant, born November 2, 1958, passed away December 15th at the age of 64 in Huntersville, North Carolina. Jerry is now resting peacefully with his beloved wife of many years, Bonnie Packett Bryant. He was preceded in death by his father, Andy Jay Bryant, and his mother, Pearl. Also awaiting him in Heaven are his brother Terry J. Bryant, sister Cynthia Bryant Phillips, and his cherished father-in-law, Riley Packett. Jerry is survived by sons Jason, Jarrod and Jeremy, granddaughter Rylynn Bryant and grandsons Jackson and Avery Bryant, brother Ronald Bryant, and sisters Patricia Bryant, Gina Bryant and Lona Ranson. Jerry also had many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by lifetime friend Grayland Head.
Jerry served in the National Guard Army and Nation Guard Army Reserves. Jerry was a painter by trade and could often be found up a ladder beside a house with a paint brush in his hand. Jerry was a very much-loved son and brother known as “Fatboy” by his family. He loved fishing and the flea markets. His memory will be cherished by many.
