Jeremy Goldstein, 33, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away July 7, 2015. Born in New York City, he was the son of Marshall and Mary Ellen Goldstein of Charlotte, NC. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Lauren Wortman and brother-in-law Chad Wortman of Charlotte, NC, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Jeremy was a passionate chef and loved to provide delicious meals for family and friends. Jeremy never met a stranger who didn’t like him right away, was the definition of a loyal friend, and had a contagious laugh that always had others laughing alongside him. He was an avid Boston sports fan, loved spending time with his family, including the schnauzers, Hudson and Ellie, and was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
His family will greet friends on Monday, July 13th, from 10-11 a.m., at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel, Charlotte, followed by his funeral service at 11 a.m. Rev. Jim Lytle will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Lawn East Cemetery, Matthews, NC. www.mcwenpinevillechapel.com.
