Jeffery Trent Freeman

Mr. Jeffery Trent Freeman, 57, of Charlotte, NC was born December 20, 1959 and departed this life on Saturday, December 9, 2017. He passed after a courageous fight with ongoing complications from a cancer diagnosis in 2015. Trent remained in good spirits keeping his strong faith until the very end.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wade K. Freeman.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn S. Freeman; two daughters, Christina and Melissa (Fiancé Andrew Kennedy); their mother, Donna R. Wages; two granddaughters Madison and Taylor; one grandson, Jase; brother, Sheldon Freeman (wife Randee); nephew, Kurry Freeman (wife Alex); along with 3 aunts and a number of cousins, friends and neighbors.

Trent graduated Olympic High School in 1978. He was employed by Carolina CAT of Charlotte for over 20 years. He has been a member of Mulberry Baptist Church since his birth.

Trent's passions were working with his hands, machining and art, but most of all spending time with his German shepherd, Bandit.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15th at Mulberry Baptist Church, 6450 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC 28214 from 12 noon to 2pm. The funeral will begin at 2pm at the church with the interment at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
