Born in Charlotte, she was a daughter of the late William and Annie Hall Bryant. Mrs. McDowell was retired from Charter Properties, Inc. where she was known as “McD”. She was a member of Steele Creek Presbyterian Church. Following her retirement, Mrs. McDowell loved to travel with her sister, Betty, with whom she enjoyed their home in Denver.
Mrs. McDowell is survived by two sisters, Betty Bryant and Frances Hearn; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, William Howard Bryant; and five sisters, Helen Bryant, Irene Lane, Ruth Howell, Ray Bryant, and Faye Pennington.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
