Jane Black Love

Charlotte - Jane Love, 95, died Monday, April 24, 2023 at the home of her daughter. She was born on August 11, 1927 in Augusta, GA, a daughter of the late George and Pearl All Black, and beloved wife to her late husband, Bruce Adam Love.

Jane was a graduate of Winthrop College in Rock Hill, SC, majoring in music. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church for many years. Her passion was music. She enjoyed gardening and doing music therapy with the sick and elderly, and conducting the children’s choir at the church.

She married Bruce Adam Love in 1951 and together they had two daughters who survive her, Allyson Love Mullis and Deborah Love Delaney; and their husbands Lane and Kevin. She is also survived by her sister, Eloise B. Mendler.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Sharon Memorial Park, 5400 Monroe Rd., Charlotte.

The family would like to thank all her caregivers, and Doctors Michael Johnson and John Benedum.
