James Russell Westmoreland

Mr. Westmoreland, age 61, of Charlotte, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. Born January 30, 1953 in Charlotte, he was a son of the late Russell Martin Westmoreland and Bertha Warren Westmoreland. He graduated from Independence High School. Mr. Westmoreland served in the U.S. Air Force. Following his military service, he was employed by Houston Wire and Cable for several years.

The memorial service to celebrate the life of James Russell Westmoreland will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 22nd at Third Presbyterian Church with Reverend Jay Weigel, officiating. His cremated remains will be buried next to his parents in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include a brother, Brian Scott Westmoreland, his wife, Christina and their daughter, Kendra, all of Tampa, Florida.
